I loved watching Valerie praise the baker kids when they did a great job, and I cried when she comforted them when their baking went wrong.

I had already seen Kardea Children’s baking championship holiday-themed reunion specials, “Sweets-Giving,” “Reindeer Games,” “Scary Good,” and “Frosting the Snowman,” and I liked him in them.so I was hoping he would impress me in the main event as well. I also knew that Kardea started her career in children’s social services, so she has experience working with children.

As I watched Children’s baking championship season 13 episode 1, I was happy and relieved to see Kardea fit into the series.
