From Aleksei and Loren Brovarnik 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? have shared some flashback photos of his time in Israel that have received a huge backlash on Instagram. Loren and Aleksei appeared first 90 day fiance season 3 in 2018, and over the next few years they became one of the franchise’s most iconic couples. However, Loren and Aleksei’s popularity has declined over the past two years, starting when they first discussed moving to Israel with their three children. Loren’s family didn’t think it was a good idea because of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.

Loren and Aleksei have postponed their plans to move to Israel, but they share their love for the war-torn country through pictures.

Lorraine recently shared photos from her last trip to Israel with a caption “home,” followed by a hashtag “#back.” Although the pictures looked beautiful, Loren received a lot of criticism for various reasons. Instagram user, @iamjmmorleycomment, “you almost never see him without his phone taking pictures of himself.” Likewise @vicesbelle wrote, “Loren go back and stay… your life revolves around the public eye.” Another user, @j.ibb7wrote, “You two are home to Ukraine and the United States.”

What the backlash to Loren and Aleksei Israel’s photos means

Loren deserves the freedom to express her feelings

Although Loren has never lived in Israel, her husband Aleksei has ties to the country through family and friends who are currently navigating the challenges of the ongoing military and political conflict. While Loren himself may not have direct connections to the Israelis, he has friends who have recently experienced Iraqi missile strikes on the country. It is unfair that netizens criticize 90 day fiance alum that he expressed his concern for his loved ones on social media. He should be free to express his opinion about the war without being bombarded with negative comments.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows you can stream or watch right now.

However, it seems disingenuous when Loren, who was born and raised in the United States, refers to Israel as his home.

Since she’s never lived in the country, she shouldn’t claim it as her home, and netizens are probably right to criticize her for this. In addition, Loren has courted controversy to gain popularity on social media. He has been accused of a “mommy makeover” just to get more likes and clicks. Now it seems that he is using Israel in his social media posts as a way to garner attention.

Loren thrives on controversy to stay in the spotlight

Loren should be able to freely express his opinion on the war between Israel and Hamas without facing backlash on social media. After all, he had intended to move to Israel before things got worse. However, Loren’s controversial nature makes it hard to take her concerns seriously. As an influencer with over a million followers, he can bring up trendy topics to attract attention. Hopefully, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? alum is genuinely concerned about what’s going on in Israel and just wants to raise awareness using his platform.
