A masked singer prepares for Sports Night, and alum Dick Van Dyke shows up to drop some huge hints on new contestant Dust Bunny as the panelists try to figure out who’s under the mask. So far during A masked singer season 12, group A is on. Leaf Sheep, Showbird, Woodpecker and Ship are eliminated and revealed as John Elway, Yvette Nicole Brown, Marsai Martin and Paula Cole. Buffalos beat them to become Group A winners. Now The Buffaloes take a back seat as the Group B rivals take center stage.

hints at a brand new competitor named Dust Bunny.

By EWwho shared a preview clip of the hint package A masked singerDick Van Dyke knows who is in the Dust Bunny costume and makes a quick appearance in the next episode as one of the disguised messengers. Clues include an earthquake zone sign, a race car flag, the revelation that years ago he had a coffee pot when he first entered the entertainment industry, and the tantalizing admission that he has worked with Anne Hathaway, David Bowie and Marlin Brando. Panelist Jenny McCarthy wonders if the earthquake clue means she’s from Los Angeles.


Throughout the video, Dust Bunny refers to the audition. He was asked to stand in for an actor in rehearsals while they were testing the lighting, and this led him to become an actor. Even though Dust Bunny acts, he has always wanted to sing; it is “my secret ambition“, he admits.

The Masked Singer Season 12 introduces the Masked Ambassadors

Several exes A masked singer contestants return this season as ambassadors in disguise giving hints to a new set of celebrities. One of them is none other than Mary Poppins the actor himself. Dick raced during A masked singer season 9 as a gnome. Unfortunately, Gnome was the first person voted out; Bishop Briggs won that season as Medusa.

Whoever Dust Bunny is, he has quite the filmography after having the opportunity to work with such a wide range of Actors like Anne, David, Marlon and Dick. Only time will tell who is under all these masks, but it will be very interesting to hear how Dust Bunny’s voice sounds when he sings, as he admitted that he is not known as a singer. He said it is “secret ambition“, which probably means he can carry a tunealthough he has not yet pursued a career in music.
