London, get ready! It’s going to be another scorching weekend so put on your sunscreen and make the most of it. From comedy shows and drag brunches, to beer festivals and Olympic events, there’s no excuse for sitting inside all day.

Have a laugh at the Camden Fringe
Our top picks for this weekend include The half birthday girla funny but moving show about a middle-aged woman who dares to defy her winter birthday by celebrating six months later in sunny May, and Refuge, a timely one-person play about Braham, an ordinary shopkeeper who is forced to make a dangerous journey after becoming a refugee.

Try unique pints at the London Craft Beer Festival
One of the UK’s biggest beer events has returned to Wapping’s Tobacco Dock for another year! The London Craft Beer Festival will be pulling pints and serving stouts from tonight (Friday 9 August) until late Saturday night (10 August).
Beer lovers can sample sweet, sweet nectar from breweries all over the world while enjoying live music and great food from some of the city’s best DJs and chefs. As if that wasn’t enough, you get a souvenir glass to take home with you. Cheers to that!
Have a mimosa with drag cones
Calling all Ru Paul fans, the category is…Drag Race brunch reality.
Sashay heads down to Between the Bridges on the Southbank at 11.30am on Saturday to see wig-wearing performances from Drag Race UK stars Kitty Scott-Claus and Cheryl Hole.
For £28 you get bottomless bubbly, a live DJ and four hours of party firecrackers, as well as the chance to treat yourself to a range of delicious food vendors. Tickets are available here.
Enjoy the last of the Olympic fever
It’s the final weekend of the Paris Olympics so why not head to one of the many free fan zones dotted across the capital and cheer on Team GB. There are dedicated areas complete with massive screens, comfortable sun loungers and sports tasting sessions at Lewis Cubitt Square (King’s Cross), Battersea Power Station, Westfield Square (White City) and Grosvenor Square (Mayfair).
You could also potentially meet Olympic heroes, with silver medalist Adam Burgess making an appearance at King’s Cross on Saturday and rower Jessica Eddie visiting the White City on Sunday.
Jump, jump, skip around Tooting Bec Lido
This one is sure to be a hit with kids big and small! The UK’s biggest inflatable obstacle course starts tomorrow (Saturday 10 August) and will bring 300m of slides, climbing walls, hanging rails and balance balls to the south London swimming area.

Discover the Homelessness: Reframed exhibition
This heart-wrenching exhibition at Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery features works by artists who have been on the streets at some point in their lives. A collaboration between Prince William, The Royal Foundation’s Homewards program and the Eleven Eleven Foundation, the free show brings to life the breadth and complexity of homelessness across the country.
