Fawlty Towers is one of the great British comedy mainstays. John Cleese’s iconic hotel-based situation show first aired from 1975 to 1979 and became a household name.
Although the show only had two seasons, consisting of 12 episodes, it built a hugely passionate fan base that has continued to expand as the decades have passed. As a result, plenty of Fawlty Towers-branded spin-offs have come to fruition, including Fawlty Towers – The Play.
The West End show is currently in residency at London’s Apollo Theater and has been hailed by the Daily Express as the “funniest show in town”. And now you can see it for less than £20.
