90 Day Groom: Before 90 days couple Veah Netherton and Sunny Mahdi seem to have broken up for the second time after getting engaged in Season 7. Veah from Florida and Sunny from South Africa met on a dating app a year before meeting in person 90 day fiance spin-off. Veah was extremely excited about the trip and caused controversy by taking her ex-boyfriend Rory with her to Durban while keeping Sunny a secret.

Sunny had trust issues with Veah. However, when Veah got out of Rory’s situation, she had to deal with Sunny’s father, who refused to accept Veah as his son’s wife. Sunny demanded Veah’s conversion to Islam and did not approve of Veah’s tattoos. Sunny forced Veah to follow her father’s rules, even though she herself never followed his father’s religion. Veah went to Disneyland with her dog sitter, but insisted that she hadn’t kissed a man on their date and that she hadn’t cheated on Sunny because they weren’t together when it happened.

Sunny and Veah continued to work out their differences and managed to put the Disneyland date in the past. They had reunited for the Tell All event, though Sunny openly stated that she hadn’t yet tried to convert Veah.

However, after Tell All, Sunny took to Instagram (via 90dayfiance_alexa) to hint at a shocking update on her relationship with Veah. The reunion was filmed in October 2024, and it seems that Sunny and Veah have broken up again in recent months. Sunny posted a cryptic story in which she wrote, “Your past should be a lesson, not a tool to seek sympathy or attention.” Sunny added:Stop looking for attention and rely on people to save you“before you continue,”Come fund me, stop lying to people soon.” Sunny seemed to hint that Veah will be launching a fundraiser soon.

Veah has recently revealed that he had a brain tumor even as he flew to South Africa to meet Sunny. He only mentioned that Tell All had gallstones, but according to Veah, he had lymph nodes removed after returning to America, which left him unable to walk, spitting blood, and unable to swallow anything. Veah told her fans that she had given up on doctors and relied on prayers to heal. However, she asked her followers to help find her a doctor to treat the nerve damage.
