This new local hotspot in south London started hosting events after the pandemic. After being based at Balham Bowls club, the night has now moved to high street pub Hagen and Hyde.
With bi-weekly TV shows offering some of the brightest talent in town, Comedy on the Green has already had headliners such as: Tom Ward, Rhys James, Fern Brady, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas and online sensation Kae Kurd.
Speaking about why he set up the night, Comedy on the Green founder Harry Gordon said: “I wanted to create a night where we could showcase the best talent from London and beyond.
The young comedy writer added: “Something to help continue to support live comedy after coming out of lockdown.”

One of the best in town, Backyard comedy club is a great venue that showcases many different nights. From pros doing their best to beginners taking to the stage for the very first time – Backyard has it all. Many special guests have appeared on stage to surprise the audience, including the one and only – Dave Chapelle.

As the name suggests, this venue is one of the best kept secrets for great comedy in London… until now. With a total mix of hour-long specials, late night shows or compilation nights with some of the best acts in the country, Top Secret Comedy Club has one of the best venues in town.

ABC is one of the best places to catch the country’s top shows doing their best bits and new material. This venue often hosts Ted Lasso star and longtime stand-up Brett Goldstein, as well as Sara Pascoe and Romesh Ranganathan. If you want a guaranteed giggle, this is the place to go.
