London’s pubs have been closed for almost three months and many of us are really missing visiting our much-loved locals.
The thought of going through the summer months with pubs still closed is heartbreaking for the players, and worse for landlords and staff who lose out on income from the busy season.
There are reports that the government may allow pubs to reopen their beer gardens on June 22, in time for those who can safely start serving their communities again.
What is clear is that when pubs reopen, the experience of visiting a pub can be very different from what we are used to.

But during the coronavirus lockdown, pubs across the capital have also adapted the way they operate.
Instead of turning loyal customers off completely, hundreds of pubs have started serving pints to go.
The Takeaway Pints site has compiled a list of the many London pubs that serve takeaway drinks to thirsty customers.
Anyone can suggest a pub they know offers takeaway and so far there are almost 400 on the ever-growing list.
While we wait to see what the future holds for pubs, why not support your local by ordering a beer.
