10 Worst Mediterranean Villains Below Deck (Yes, “Producer Factory” Bri Muller is on the list)

Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea has introduced some of the franchise’s worst villains over the years. João Franco is famous for his disgusting behavior during Deck Med seasons 3 and 4. While drinking, he transformed into his alter-ego, “Jezebob.” João blamed Jezebob for his bad behavior. He didn’t get along with Chief Stew Hannah, but was promoted to Bosun after his first season. João had a rocky relationship with Aesha during the fourth episode Deck Med. He called her “Russian prostitute“over the course of one night and continuously picked up the stew part throughout the first subscription season, working together.

João made his shocking return to the franchise in Below decks season 2 after Luke Jones was fired from Bosun. Aesha was surprised to be taken in as Bosun’s replacement, even though she worked hard to put their issues aside in Season 4. He admitted that he was still “worst“ and that it was difficult to maintain a professional relationship with João because of the way he treated her in the past. However, the other deckhands found problems with his management style, and Aesha effectively kept herself out of the drama with him.

9 Elena “Ellie” Dubaich

Below Deck Med Seasons 7 & 9

Before he joined Deck Med season 9, Elena “Ellie” Dubaich” served as Kyle Viljoen’s replacement stew after his injury in season 7. She returned as Aesha’s second stew as she had little experience with the franchise. He mentored third baseman Bri Muller and was a big help to the infield early in the season. Ellie admitted that she found main cover hand Joe Bradley attractive and told the third stew that she wanted to go on a boat trip with him. However, Bri ignored his feelings and joined him after the night.

After their reunion, Ellie took out her frustrations on the third stew. He used the hierarchy of sailing to make Bri feel less than himself at times. Ellie couldn’t put her problems aside and made frequent appearances. He ended up crashing with Aesha at the end of the season for practically no reason. Ellie and Bri’s argument ended when she heard Joe sing a song about not wanting to choose either of them. However, a lot of damage had already been done to their relationship by then.

8 Kyle Viljoen

Below Deck Med Seasons 7 & 8

Lots of crew members involved Deck Med season 8 showed villainous traits but Kyle Viljoen was the undisputed villain season. He started stirring up drama between Tumi Mhlongo and Natalya Scudder before they met on the show. Kyle, however, warned the main pot about Natalya, clouding her judgment before she could get to know the stew. They couldn’t get on the same page, even though Kyle was adamant that he didn’t have his hands on their flesh. However, if he hadn’t interfered in their relationship early on, they could have started Deck Med season 8 on much better terms.

7 Malia White

Below Deck Med seasons 2, 5 and 6

Whether fans saw her as a hero or a villain, Malia White is steeped in her history. Below decks as the first woman to serve as a Bosun on the series. He debuted in the franchise in season 2 and quickly impressed the crew. He returned with quite a bit of promotion in Season 5, where he received groundbreaking recognition as Bosun. However, Malia proved to be a good leader of the outdoor department his time on the show is remembered for his hand in Hannah’s infamous exit.

By some fans’ standards, Malia gets credit for shooting Hannah. When Bosun found out that Chief Stew had a vape pen and unprescribed Valium, he took this information to Captain Sandy, which led to his firing. At the end of the day, Hannah was kicked off the boat for breaking the rules. Some Viewers believe Malia vindictively told Captain Sandy about her accident. Regardless, he returned the following season as Bosun, but has not been on the show since. Malia has a future on the show and her recent appearance Winter house season 3 hints that he’s on good terms with Bravo and the Below decks franchise.

6 Joe Bradley

Below Deck Med season 9

Joe is the master of evil Deck Med season 9 She juggled three stews, Ellie, Bri, and late arrival Carrie O’Neillhis short time in Mustique. Dating one woman wasn’t enough for him, so he chose them all except Aesha, who was engaged, and Gael Cameron, who was on a boat trip with his dear friend and co-star Nathan Gallagher. On deck, Joe struggled in his position as commanding officer, and Captain Sandy admitted that Iain Maclean should have named Nathan as his second-in-command.

He also reprimanded Gael on several occasions. At times, Joe makes sly comments about his work ethic and admitted that he thought he acted like “princess” because of his boating. His misogynistic views shone through in his love triangle with Ellie and Bri. When the other stew overheard him singing a childish song about which woman he was going to choose, they ended things, and he immediately set out to track down Carrie.

5 Natalia Scudder

Below Deck Med Seasons 7 & 8

Natalya turned out to be a Deck Med villain in Season 8. At the height of Charter’s season, he came into Tumi’s main stew when he got caught in customs. Behind the scenes, Kyle warned them about each other and spread gossip among the crew before meeting in person. When Tumi arrived, they clashed during their first meeting, and the season was destined to fail. Natalja and Tumi’s argument lasted the entire charter season and negatively spoiled the program’s success.

Instead of following Chief Stews’ orders, Natalya had a very negative attitude by boat. After fighting with Tumi, he expressed his opinion to the crew instead of keeping his feelings to himself. Kyle continued to tell each stew what they thought of each other behind their backs, further exacerbating their conflict. They should have put the beef aside, but Natalya took the opportunity to voice her displeasure with Tum being the main pothead. His pessimistic attitude in season 8 is likely the reason why he didn’t return for season 9.

4 Dave White

Below Deck Med Season 7

Unlike other villains Below decksChef Dave White’s most scandalous moments did not happen without the knowledge of any of the crew. He had a secret boat trip with Natasha Webb while they were working on a superyacht before the show. However, he had an affair outside the boat, which made their boating quite dramatic. Natasha asked him to keep the communication quiet among the crew, and when he became frustrated with their secrets, he would send her cruel messages they were so bad that they were not shown on the show. Dave had a terrible attitude, although Captain Sandy still considers him the best cook he has ever worked with.

3 Mila Kolomeitseva

Below Deck Med season 4

Mila Kolomeitseva is the chef who appeared in the franchise series the most. Like Malia, her casting marked history as the first female chef Below decks. However, soon after she started cooking in the kitchen, fans speculated that she was a producer factory due to her lack of experience. Chef Mila has gone down in history as the worst cook in the franchise. Her worst moments are making pancakes from a box, licking steak in front of the camera and his infamously awful nachos. Chef Mila was fired early in the season, to no one’s surprise, and will likely never return.

2 Tom Checketts

Below Deck Med season 5

Tom Checketts was quite the departure in the fifth season of the Mediterranean spin-off. He replaced chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran after he was abruptly fired. Fans speculated that Tom is going to bring his relationship with Malia into the production. Despite his girlfriend’s comfort on board, the cook acted erratically and was ill-prepared. Although, he apparently did not expect to join the crew he took his frustration out on his coworkers instead of being in better control of your emotions. Chef Tom hasn’t returned to the show since Season 5, and that might be for the best.

1 Bri Muller

Below Deck Med season 9

Many crew members were blamed for the production facilities Deck Med season 9 due to allegations of poor performance, and Bri was no exception. He started the sailing season eager to work with Aesha and Ellie, although things quickly turned around. When another stew expressed interest in Joe, Bri ignored his feelings and kissed him in the hot tub. From that moment on, their relationship as stews and friends was ruined. They fought constantly as Bri struggled to handle the tasks. He was terrible in the laundry and didn’t improve by the end of series nine, leading some fans to believe he was sabotaging the crew.

There have been so many villains Below decks franchise agreements over the years. As one of the best spin-offs Below deck, the Mediterranean Sea has had its share of unfortunate yachts. Whether they’re new faces to the franchise or longtime alumni, the show proves that anyone can be considered a villain.
