London pub and food group Urban Pubs & Bars has announced the grand opening of The Red Setter in the Northcote Road community between Battersea and Clapham. The venue has undergone a £1m refurbishment and building program and is the latest part of the company’s expansion plans.

The Red Setter team have created a menu that showcases British cuisine. The Red Setter, five minutes’ walk from Clapham Junction train station, is the latest in the Urban Pubs & Bars collection of 42 pubs, bars and restaurants across London.

The pub, which has created more than twenty new jobs, opens its doors for previews on Thursday 28 March, followed by a special VIP opening event on 4 April.

As a dog-friendly pub and close to the world-famous Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, 50p from every Sunday Roast will be donated to the animal charity.

Founded in 2014 by Nick Pring and Malc Heap, Urban Pubs & Bars has grown into an estate of 42 pubs, bars and restaurants across London, including the acquisition and growth of Salt Yard Group.

Venues include The Wheatsheaf, Tooting, Paradise via Kensal Green, Nest in the City & Bat & Ball London.
