Carl Howells has taken up the role of commercial director at Compass Group’s sourcing division, Foodbuy.
Before joining Foodbuy, Carl Howells was the director of customer relations at Entegra, a group buying company.
Howells will be responsible for all aspects of Foodbuy’s restaurant operations, focusing especially on expanding the customer base in the hotel sector.
Foodbuy currently manages over £1.4bn of customer spend in the UK, including acquisitions for parent Compass Group. It offers services such as online procurement, menu planning, margin delivery and chef development.
