Apple is inviting aspiring artists all across the UK to get creative this festive season. You’ll want to grab your iPad and start scribbling, because you are in with the chance to see your art projected across one of London’s most iconic landmarks – Battersea Power Station!
Your Tree on Battersea, invites you to submit your best take on a Christmas tree created on your iPad. The 24 winning entries from the public will be projected along the river-facing chimneys and wash towers of the famous power station, alongside commissioned works by the likes of Sir Stephen Fry, David Shrigley OBE and more.
The winning entries will be unveiled on December 4 at 5 pm, as the projections switch on for the festive season. British comedian Munya Chawawa will also be present at the switch on event, which promises to be a night to remember!

Aspiring entrants can simply submit their work from home; or, drop by any of the 39 Apple stores across the country for dedicated Today at Apple sessions, where you’ll get some help creating and submitting your Christmas tree designs. These sessions will also continue past the end of the competition, all the way until December 22, for any more creative inspiration you might want to explore after submissions close.
If you choose to participate from home, you can enter the competition by downloading the template to your iPad, opening it in your preferred drawing app, and creating your artwork. Remember to submit your entry before November 23 at 11:59pm to enter the competition – good luck!
