Wing Fest will tour across six major UK cities, and each will showcase independent sellers competing to make the ‘Best Buffalo Wing’, ‘Best Wild Wing’ and ‘Best BBQ Wing’. You can expect to see several top traders such as Thunderbird, Bone Daddies, Poor Boys, Jack Blumenthal’s Ginger Wings, Wingmans and many more, with an estimated one million wings set to be devoured across the six weekends. One thing’s for certain, there’ll be plenty to go around!

London’s festival will see guest judges such as Michelin-starred Andy Beynon (Behind), Food Network TV host and chef, Judy Joo, and rapper Professor Green awarding prizes to the winners. Visitors will also be invited to place their votes across these three categories.

As far as entertainment goes, festival goers can expect a number of wing-based eating challenges, from eating the hottest wings to seeing who can eat the most in a limited time. Be sure to sign yourself up if you think you’ve got what it takes! But it’s not just about the wings – you can expect tipples from Tiny Rebel and a selection of sauces courtesy of the Flying Goose Brand, perfect for dipping.

Plus, there’ll be entertainment for all the family with axe throwing, arcade games, bourbon masterclasses and plenty of live music.

The festival was founded by wing enthusiast Richard Thacker, who comes from a long line of chicken farmers and has spent time as a street food trader. He launched Wing Fest ten years ago, as a way to showcase independent sellers and businesses from across the country with this legacy set to continue in 2024.
