Carlos Alcaraz will open the Championships as tradition dictates as the defending men’s singles champion. The Spaniard, and recent French Open champion, will start against Mark Lajal of Estonia.
Next up on Centre is home favourite Emma Raducanu and the former US Open champion will hope to continue her return to form against 22nd seed Ekaterina Alexandrova. Closing the day’s play on SW19’s showiest of courts is Coco Gauff, who takes on fellow American Caroline Dolehide.
On Court One, Daniil Medvedev starts on the court that has become his second home in recent years, with the much-fancied Aryna Sabalanka next up. Men’s top seed Jannik Sinner concludes proceedings against Germany’s Yannick Hanfmann.
On the outside courts, there’s the usual gaggle of British wild cards, with Liam Broady, Charles Broom, Heather Watson and Arthur Fery in action.
