Parasite: Gray Season 1 ended with a shocking cameo that will set up an exciting Season 2 if Netflix continues to renew.

Instead of focusing on the high-stakes invasion of Japan, the recently released six-episode series focused on new characters, a different location (South Korea), but the same enemy.
Parasite: Gray premieres on Netflix on April 5.

Jeong Su-in and Kang-woo and Hyung-hee (his sister who has been taken over by a parasite) have a heated confrontation with Reverend Kwon Hyuk-joo (disguised as policeman Chol Min) at a music festival. dared to stop him from taking possession of the body of the town’s mayor.
After Hyung-hee sacrificed herself to save her friend and host’s brother, Sui-in and the others managed to defeat the Reverend, ending his reign of terror and proving that Heidi (the parasite inside Sui-in) is on the side of the people.
Jun-Kyung, who strongly hated the parasites after they killed his sister, decided not to arrest Su-in because he believed he was more human despite having Heidi inside him. This step was Jun-Kyung’s decision to accept her sister’s death.

Kang-woo, a former gang member and eventual hero, also joined Team Grey, giving him a fresh start and establishing himself as a good person.

In the final moments of the finale, Shinichi Izumi (Masaki Suda) entered the picture to offer help to Jun-Kyung and Team Gray in eliminating the Korean parasites.
Fans can immediately recognize that Shinichi Izumi is the main character A parasitemeaning that Parasite: Gray is both a sequel and sequel to the manga.
The final scene opens up many interesting plot possibilities for a possible season 2, such as Shinichi tracing events after the events of the manga (he’s much older now), a highly anticipated collaboration between him and her. The arrival of Su-in and many dangerous enemies.
There is a high possibility that an announcement is coming, but at the end of the day, it would completely depend on viewership and fan demand for Season 2.
Still, Netflix wouldn’t have included that big cameo in the end if there weren’t plans to air the show’s sophomore episode.
I hope Netflix renews Parasite: Gray at least one more season, as the story has endless possibilities, especially after the arrival of Shinichi Izumi.
