Although Chu did not confirm his inclusion, he did tease, “Part of me wants all Dorothys to be what Dorothy wants them to be. And yet there are interactions and conflicts:”
“In the show, Dorothy is close. They have to cross over, and you can only tease it so much. I’m not going to say if she’s necessarily a character in the other movie. Part of me wants everyone’s Dorothy to be whatever Dorothy they want, and yet there’s interaction and conflict, so I’ll leave it to the 2nd part.”
Weir, a 15-year-old Irish actor and singer, is widely recognized for his standout performances Matilda the musical (2022) and the 2024 horror film Abigail.
