The One Show is noticeably missing from tonight’s (Wednesday 12th June) schedules as BBC One will be airing a Panorama special as anticipation for General Election builds up.

The long-standing TV chat-show usually airs on BBC One every night, providing viewers with the latest topical stories and celebrity interviews at 7pm sharp.

However, in light of the General Election, the schedule for BBC One this week has been adjusted slightly to allow for an episode of Panorama.

So, without further ado, read on for all the details regarding how to watch the teatime staple this week.

Why isn’t The One Show on TV tonight?

The One Show won’t be airing in its usual spot tonight (Wednesday 12th June).

In its place will be The Panorama Interviews with Nick Robinson, in which his interviews all the major party leaders in the run-up to the general election.

In tonight’s edition, Robinson will speak to the leader of the SNP, John Swinney.

When will The One Show be back on BBC One?

The programme will return to its usual slot on BBC One at 7pm on Thursday 13th June 2024.

Alex Jones and Ronan Keating will be back to bring viewers the stories that matter from across the country.
