Why did the Islanders vote to eliminate Andrea?

Andrea Carmona participated Love Island USA The season 6 villa was a bombshell on Day 6, and it recently dropped much to the surprise of many islanders. When Andrea entered the villa with Nicole Jacky, they were immediately asked to kiss the two co-stars. Andrea chose Rob Rausch and Love Island USA star Aaron Evans, and later went on a date with Rob and Aaron. After forming a deeper connection with Rob, she decided to accompany him during the reunion ceremony. He later stole her from Leah Kateb. Leah never seemed to get over Rob, even when she got back with Connor Newsum.

During the most recent elimination, the voting lines were opened to the public before episode 12 aired, allowing voters to rank their favorite couple and least favorite couple. Rob and Andrea, Kendall and Nicole, and JaNa and Hakeem were voted the show’s least favorite couple. When these results were announced, the show’s the new host, Ariana Madix, turned the tables on the remaining couples and gave them the power to decide which man and woman would be eliminated. The men chose Hakeem, but to everyone’s surprise, the women chose Andrea.

Leah had an ulterior motive

He saw an opportunity to take Rob back

Although the vote was unanimous, Leah told Rob that she had taken a backseat to Andrea’s fall. The vote came as a shock to Rob and the rest of the cast as he and Andrea were one of the most established couples in the villa. When Hakeem was announced as the first to be eliminated, the islanders assumed the ladies would vote JaNa out of the villa with him since they were together at the time. When Leah, Kaylor, Serena and Liv voted between JaNa, Nicole and Andrea, the choice seemed clear.

Rob threatened to leave the villa before accusing Kaylor, Serena and Liv of revenge against Andrea, claiming their sympathy for Leah. He wondered if Leah voted for Andrea to bully him, but Leah told him that wasn’t true. That all changed when Liv told Rob that Leah wasn’t actually left behind during the vote. He was in the front seat leading Andrea. Rob was shocked to learn this – he was put off by Leah’s manipulative tactics. Leah just wanted Andrea out of the way.

They felt that JaNa deserved a second chance

Jana didn’t have much luck in the villa

Ever since she arrived at the villa on day one, JaNa has been one of the most attractive new singles. JaNa was originally in a relationship with Coye Simmons before deciding to cut it off due to her poor communication skills. This freed him up to seek a connection with Connor during the reunion ceremony. JaNa and Connor seemed to be a harmonious couple until Connor and Leah started showing interest in each other – leading JaNa to pursue Hakeem. She even tried to chase Miguel, one of the newest bombshells, by cooking him eggs while he was talking to Serena.

Jana hasn’t had the best luck looking for love in the villa. Most of his matches have broken down either due to communication issues, distractions, or a general lack of matchups. She has not given up and has remained graceful and optimistic at every turn, while extending compassion and understanding to her fellow islanders. He does this even if they betray him or get in the way. Leah, Serena, and Liv probably felt they owed it to repay JaNa, because they were all chasing the same men in the villa. They went to more certain matches.

Andrea was not nice to Hanna

Andrea made fun of Hanna’s physical appearance

Before Hannah Smith was eliminated, she tried to get the attention of the newest bombshell in the villa, Miguel Harich, who was also found attractive by almost all the other women in the villa. During episode 10 Hannah worked out with Miguel in the morning and made him laugh because he wasn’t that athletic. While watching Miguel and Hannah work out, Andrea and Nicole were left laughing together as they criticized Hannah saying it was wild since it was probably the first time Hannah had ever worked out in the villa. Miguel ended up in an alliance with Liv, but Andrea’s comment still felt very mean.

Hannah was very close to the other women in the villa, so it’s possible that Leah, Serena, Kaylor, and Liv wanted to be in solidarity with her. Although it was never confirmed if they knew about Andrea’s comments about Hannah’s appearance, they could feel the general disapproval directed from Andrea towards Hannah, which rubbed them the wrong way. Being able to remove negative energy from the villa, the women may have felt that it would be in the interest of the rest of the cast.

Andrea was a threat

They knew the bombs might favor Andrea

When Miguel entered the villa as a new bombshell, he was given the opportunity to kiss all the women while they stood blindfolded, and was tasked with ranking each kiss on a scale of 1-10. This was his introduction to the villa, and as he made his rounds, Miguel stopped in front of Andrea and said that he had to “take your time with this one.“ It was clear that Miguel found Andrea to be a standout, and his comment may have fueled the competitive spirit of the women who went under the radar, but could still relax.

It is unclear if the women voted to eliminate Andrea in order to qualify for the next round of bombshells. Three new bombshells arrived at the villa in episode 14, two of which were men. With many of the islanders still single in the villa, all eyes are on the bomb and what happens to them next. Rob is still in the villa and has decided not to leave Love Island USA. Although he hasn’t taken Leah’s chance, he seems heartbroken by Andrea’s fall and could leave the villa at any time.
