Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett broke up before the final season Family Chantelbut the heartthrob’s reputation is unlikely to ever improve. Chantel and Pedro’s story began 90 day fiance season 4 when an American woman traveled to the Dominican Republic for vacation. The couple traveled back to the United States, where they agreed to marry within 90 days. Chantel’s family, especially her mother Karen Everett, always had reservations about their relationship. After landing Family Chantel in season 5, it seems he was right to be worried.

Pedro never really loved Chantel. He cared more about sending money to his mother and sister Lidia Morel and Nicole Jimeno back in the Dominican Republic. Also, he was just worried about Chantel’s earning potential, especially since she initially failed the nursing exam. Pedro was so focused on his real estate career that he completely neglected his marriage. However, breaking up with Chantel is the worst mistake he has ever made. His reputation will never return.

Chantel really loved Pedro

He wanted to make their marriage work

Chantel really loved Pedro and she gave him nothing. Throughout their relationship, Chantel consistently showed her commitment to Pedro, always trying to improve their communication and family relationships. However, Pedro showed that he did not care for Chantel when he belittled her for failing her nursing degree, putting her family’s opinions before Chantel’s, and refusing to balance her real estate career with their marriage. Even though Chantel gave her all to Pedro, she didn’t stick to the deal. No wonder their union ended in divorce.

Pedro’s reputation was damaged after the divorce

His reputation will never recover

Pedro’s reputation was already on the rocks Family Chantelbut his opinions definitely changed again after Chantel’s breakup. It became apparent that Pedro had ulterior motives for marrying Chantel, such as getting a green card and building a career in real estate. When Pedro was accused of cheating on Chantel with co-workers Laura Delgado and Antonella Barrenechea, he should have taken a step back from his relationship with them.

Instead, Pedro complained about it Family Chantel was biased towards Chantel, making him a manipulative character. Pedro has denied that he only married Chantel for a green card and said he could have left her much earlier if that was the case. Regardless, his reputation is unlikely to improve because of his behavior throughout the marriage.

Pedro lost any kind of positive fan reception after the divorce

He will always be a heartthrob

Pedro lost the positive fan reception when he left Chantel. She was already a franchise villain, but Chantel’s departure was the nail in the coffin. However, given his behavior towards Chantel, it’s probably for the best that they parted ways. Chantel deserves to find someone who truly loves and appreciates her, but Pedro is a selfish user. A heartthrob always uses women to elevate himself, and Chantel should find someone who doesn’t need him. Pedro is always the villain after that Family Chanteland it’s all his fault.
