Why Am I So Single? ask Nancy and Oliver as they muddle their way through dating in the big bad world of Hinge, Tinder, Bumble, Grindr, exes, cancelled dates and a whole load of Daddy issues.

It’s entertaining, hilarious, naughty, slightly outrageous sometimes, and all-round feel-good, happy and relatable.

I went to see it with my friend on a Wednesday evening and was part of a packed audience who left with smiles on their faces and a buzz in the air.

Why Am I So Single? is written by the multi-award winning writers of SIX, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, and is all about love, dating and friendship.

Jo Foster plays Oliver and Leesa Tulley plays Nancy – and they both deserve every phenomenal review, standing ovation and praise that they will receive during the course of the show.

Best friends, each other’s biggest fan, and most of all someone to pick them up when they’re down – partnered with Noah Thomas who plays the honest best friend that the pair need at times.

At points in the show you genuinely start to wonder why Nancy and Oliver are actually so single – because they come across as all-round great human beings who deserve to love, be loved, happiness and to be celebrated as much as they can be.

The show is produced by Kenny Wax, Geroge Stiles and Ameena Hamid and features epic pop and musical-inspired songs by the dynamic writing team of Marlow & Moss along with high-energy choreography by Ellen Kane.

It’s showing until February 13, 2025 at the Garrick Theatre, with tickets from £20, and I’d really recommend you get your ticket while you can, because as soon as word spreads further – I would be surprise if it’s not a sell out.
