4 things you should know about Rasa Bagdonaviciute
Rasa Bagdonaviciute studied at Vilnius University
Bagdonaviciute has a lot of cachet from the point of view of education, as he graduated from Vilnius University in Lithuania with a bachelor’s degree in international business.
He studied there from 2007 to 2011 and has also completed a Daniel Daggers Academy qualification on the importance of digital and sales training. Daggers’ program is the first real estate course in the UK to offer a basic qualification as a real estate consultant and cover all aspects of the job.
According to his LinkedIn page, he also took a three-week course on American culture at Coastal Carolina University in 2010, where he studied the United States from a global perspective while learning English.
Rasa used to be a pop star in Lithuania
In addition to real estate work, Bagdonaviciute’s hobbies include singing and dancing, as well as showing passion for music (more details in Channel 4’s press release).
Growing up in Lithuania, she had dreams of moving out of the country and started singing and dancing to get away from home.
This led to her becoming a huge pop star in Lithuania for a few years, although she admitted she wouldn’t be doing this for the rest of her life.
The only remnants of her singing career online can be heard on her SoundCloud account, including her cover of Kelly Clarkson’s 2004 hit single “Because of You.”
Rasa used to live in Dubai
After growing up in Lithuania and before moving to the UK, Bagdonaviciute worked as a property consultant in Dubai.
From December 2013 to July 2015, he took on a variety of duties in his position, including maximizing sales, real estate leasing, Real Estate Brokerage, and real estate appraisal.
His LinkedIn page lists over a dozen other assignments he took on while working at this job, all of which help develop his skills and experience as a real estate agent.
Although he enjoyed his work, he did not particularly enjoy living in Dubai, which is why he moved to England. He dreamed of earning enough money to move with his mother to England from Lithuania, although this has not been revealed.
Rasa starred in the sale of Supertalo before buying London
Before he worked in London buy, Bagdonaviciute started to make a name for himself in another reality show, Super houses for sale.
She and seven other contestants starred in this series competing for the job of a lifetime at P Kemsley’s independent agency. However, Rasa fell short and did not win the competition.
Speaking about the experience on Instagram, she explained how one of the biggest lessons she learned there was that “you have to believe in yourself” points out that he “Embarrassed in this respect:”
“One key lesson I’ve learned from being on the show is that no matter what, you have to believe in yourself. You can’t doubt yourself, even if insecurities like my language barrier try to shake your confidence. Unfortunately, I faltered in this relationship, when the fear of, that I’m not good enough in front of the cameras because of my accent or language barrier, and the fear of public judgment gets in the way of my true self.”
Even though she had cried for a week about her confidence issues, she decided to never be anything but her true self. “When one door closes, another always opens:”
“When I left the show, I spent a week in tears, not because I didn’t win the competition or secure the job at Robert Irving Burns, but because I let my confidence issues hold me back. I loved that feeling.
A week later, I caught myself and promised, ‘I will never again allow myself to be anything other than me. No matter where I am, who I’m with or why I’m there, I’m always true to myself because that’s my strength. And always remember, when one door closes, another always opens.”
