Melania Cruz, who was born on July 25, 1983 and is currently 40 years old, studied at the Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Galicia (or ESADg), an acting school in Vigo, Spain.
ESADg was founded in 2005. According to the school’s website, it is “committed to the development of Galicia’s culture, stage and theater system through the education it provides.”

Cruz is certainly no stranger to pedaling the boards. He has appeared in many stage and theater productions, such as a play Mary Continental. His official website even lists him as the creator and producer of the theater company A Quinta Do Quadrante.
Speaking to Faro De Vigo in 2014, Cruz discussed his experience performing in 2014 The pillow man, a play written by Martin McDonagh. He pointed out that it was a “really hard” show for work:
“I believe that every thing has its own difficulties. This show was very difficult to work on because it deals with sensitive issues. But at the same time, the result was very satisfying. We have been well received by the public, critics and programmers. We were very satisfied with the result achieved.”

In addition to her time on stage, Melania Cruz, whose hometown is Lugo, Spain, has had the opportunity to act in several films. This includes the drama of 2018 Prank call (in which she played Marta), a horror film Malencholia, and dogs, which won 13 awards at the 2017 Mestre Mateo Awards.

Melania Cruz received high accolades when she won the Cultural Award for the Performing Arts of Galicia in 2022. This award was given to her by the governing body of Galicia, the Xunta de Galicia (or Regional Government of Galicia).
Additionally, Cruz won Best Actress at the 2016 María Casares Awards for her work in the film The excitement of the garden and Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture Jogging in 2019.
Melania first stars in the movie Artificial Justice
Cruz’s next film appearance is in director Simón Casali’s political thriller Artificial right. The film is set to premiere in September, and the plot concerns the timely artificial intelligence of the Spanish legal system.
