Haverdan Leia is the daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti and the granddaughter of Kitty and Red. Leia is from Chicago, but moved to Point Place, Wisconsin after being fascinated by the life and people there.

Callie Haverda started acting in commercials

Callie Haverda, born February 22, 2007, started acting by appearing in commercials before landing her big break on the small screen.

The 17-year-old actress has appeared in over 20 national commercials for major brands including Citibank, Hyundai, Kaleo, Toyota Testimonials, Shutterfly and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

Speaking with Texas Lifestyle Magazine in October 2020, Haverda recounted her first experience acting in a commercial at the age of six, noting that she “fell in love with the whole experience:”

“My first commercial was when I was about six years old and soon after that I was working on ‘The Adventures of Pepper and Paula’. I actually didn’t get to act until I was old enough to decide for myself that this was what I really wanted to do. After my first job I fell in love with the whole experience and I knew I couldn’t stop!”

The actor also discussed his long list of commercial credits, such as those in which he felt empowered “helping girls share their voices in civil society:”

“Yes, I just recently finished shooting a commercial for Citibank with the Girl Scouts. It’s an empowering commercial that helps girls share their voice in civil society. I was so happy to be a part of it. I’ve also been in Prevagen and Hyundai, KFC, Homewood In commercials for Suites, Kaleo and the HEB Super Bowl commercial with former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.”

Callie previously starred in Netflix’s The Lost Husband

That 90s show is not Callie Haverda’s first role on Netflix. She previously played Abby Moran in the 2020s Missing husband. Abby is one of the daughters of the main character Libby.

In the same interview with Texas Style Magazine, Haverda revealed that she was recommended for the role of Abby in the film. Missing husband by the casting director, he auditioned several times:

“I was recommended for the role by a casting director who I’ve auditioned for many times. I got the audition directly for me. I was in California at the time, so my mom just filmed me in our apartment and got it sent. Then I had a Skype call session where I talked to director Vicky Wight and the producers with.”

The actor also talked about his experience filming the movie with Josh Duhamel and Leslie Bibi, noting that there was chemistry between him and the rest of the cast. “very natural:”

“When I got the call that I booked it, we immediately flew back to Texas, and I had an amazing time filming. Josh Duhamel and Leslie Bibb were both really funny and spent a lot of time with us, so the chemistry on set was very natural, and we had a lot of fun with each other.”

Callie was in awe of her co-star on that 90s show

Callie Haverdan’s Leia Forman has a lot going on That 90s show Season 2 as she deals with her complicated feelings for Nate after almost kissing at the end of Season 1. This is in addition to the fact that she and Nate are both in other relationships.

As a result, Leia spends time daydreaming about apologizing to her boyfriend to Lisa Loeb’s “Stay (I Missed You),” which also features a special cameo from the singer-songwriter.

Haverda told People magazine in June 2024 that Loeb’s inclusion, according to Loeb, came after her character Leia tried to recreate her music video for “Stay (I Missed You):”.

“It’s a crazy stacked cast. I was mostly intimidated by Lisa Loeb. I mean, it was definitely scary to do that because I was practically her. I’ve never done anything like that. I rewatched her music video so many times.”

Leading Actors That 70s spin-off series can be a daunting task, but Haverda told Content Model “the pressure was only in (his) mind:”

“I would say it was scary at first. Not only was it a hugely successful franchise that already had a cult following, but it was also my first multi-cam, my first regular role in a lead series and my first time working with a lot of people my age. There was pressure, but it just came I, the cast, my friends and family supported me and the whole show.

The Netflix star also shared that it’s fun to include Easter eggs and clues tied to them That 70s show which die-hard fans may notice while watching:

“I think after the initial fear and anxiety, everything fell into place very quickly and it became an incredibly exciting experience. Every day there was something to look forward to, and every time we got a new script, I wasn’t just thinking about myself and what did I think about it, I started thinking about the fans and if they would they caught little Easter eggs and clues left over from “That 70s Show.”

Callie is a big Wes Anderson fan

Callie is also a proud fan of the famous film director Wes Anderson, known for his films The Grand Budapest Hotel, Asteroid Cityand Fantastic Mr. Fox.

In the same Content Mode interview, Haverda said that his favorite Wes Anderson movie is Fantastic Mr. Fox because he “I literally (grew up) with that movie:”

“My first answer whenever someone asks me this is ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’ because I literally grew up with that movie. The first time I saw it was probably when it came out in 2009, I would have been 2 years old!”

The actress also talked about her relationship with Anderson Moonrise Kingdom:

“I also have a connection to Moonrise Kingdom just because it was the first Wes movie I saw on my own and on my own. From then on I was obsessed with his work and have been ever since.”

Callie is fascinated by archaeology

In addition to acting, Callie Haverda has shown an interest in archeology and admits it “had been (his) love for some time:”

“Archaeology had been a love of mine for a while. The first time I learned what it was I was probably 9 years old watching another episode of ‘The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’. I took these online classes for a while where I met on Zoom with a group my age every week, when I was 9-10 years old. We met and talked and learned about some part of the world and its history very based on archeology and anthropology, and I think that’s where my real love started.”

The That 90s show the lead star discussed how his love of archeology made him want to study it at university, while also expressing his desire to continue “so many expeditions” around the globe:

“When I started thinking seriously about what to study in college, I realized that archeology is what I wanted to do. I’ve always had a problem with having too many passions. It’s a good problem, don’t you. Don’t get me wrong, but decide what I want doing the rest of my life at only 16 years old is a lot of pressure, especially since there are so many expeditions I’d like to do and learn and so many places I’d like to dig in, but I’d like (want to try) to find Cleopatra’s tomb just because its story is so fascinating .”
