Ashley Aufderheide started modeling at a very young age

Ashley Aufderheide, born in 2004, is no stranger to appearing in front of the camera. According to the actress’ now-defunct official website, she began modeling at the age of less than three.

Her face has also been attached to some major brands including Saks, Ralph Lauren and Juicy Couture. Aufderheide is still involved in the modeling industry and recently appeared in PhotoBook Magazine’s 2023 shoot (according to her Instagram page).

She previously recalled to PhotoBook that her introduction to modeling was of some sort “A dream come true story:”

“It’s kind of a dream come true. I was walking through a Manhattan store with my mother when we were approached by a woman who worked for Ralph Lauren. He told my mom that he thought I would make a great Ralph Lauren model. That same week, my parents and I went to a Christmas event at a local boutique, and the store owner asked me to appear in an upcoming catalog for her brand. Shortly after that I signed with Ford Models and things just continued from there.

Ashley’s first acting role was in a Mark Ruffalo film

Aufderheide’s first significant role in the world of acting came in the 2014 film so-called Infinite polar bear which was based on a true story.

The film starred the Incredible Hulk himself, Mark Ruffalo, as a man with bipolar disorder who seeks to curry favor with his estranged wife (Zoe Saldaña) by taking responsibility for their two energetic daughters. Ashley Aufderheide played Faith, one of those young daughters, when she was seven years old.

In a Facebook post, Aufderheide described working with Ruffalo and Saldana as a “Great experience.”

Ashley Aufderheide is currently studying at College

Born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, Aufderheide attended Greenwich Academy, a college preparatory school for girls. He was a student at Greenwich Academy for 13 years (through American Studies).

After graduating in 2023, he moved to Duke University, located in Durham, North Carolina. According to Aufderheide’s LinkedIn profile, he will graduate from Duke in 2028.

Ashley’s That ’90s Show character is a successor to the 70s staple

In That 90s show18-year-old Ashley Aufderheide plays Gwen, who is more or less the show’s answer to Steven Hyde from the original. That 70s showbiting sarcasm and all.

In fact, Hyde and Gwen’s similarities are so strong that a viable fan theory has emerged that claims they could be father and daughter.

About his general role in the series, Aufderheide spoke to PIX11. It was in this interview that the star admitted that he was not very familiar That 70s show when he auditioned for the Clinton-era equivalent:

“It’s so surreal to me. I mean, when I auditioned, I didn’t know what the show was, and I had to do my research. And I was like, ‘Okay, I’ll watch one episode.’ I didn’t really go in with any expectations. I fell in love with it right away !I was like “Oh my God, I have to be a part of this”.
