With the debut Buying Beverly Hills Season 2, fans will want to know more about the show’s luxury real estate agents, including charismatic LA native Ben Belack.

Belack has been a part of the hit sneaker line since its inception, working as a realtor helping clients buy and sell real estate in the hip Beverly Hills neighborhood.

Season 2 debuted on Netflix on March 22, bringing 10 new episodes for audiences to enjoy.

Ben Black

Ben Belack went to San Diego State University

Long before he entered the world of brokerage and home sales, Ben Belack attended school at San Diego State University.

Belack studied at the Southern California institution from 1998 to 2001 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. This eventually led him to appear in the Netflix series.

Although the property may not be too closely related to the study of psychology, it shows how versatile Belack is.

In addition to his interest in selling homes and the inner workings of the human psyche, the 5’11” real estate agent has a few other special skills and traits.

On Belack’s online resume Buying Beverly Hills The star’s hobbies include snowboarding and surfing, as well as being fluent in Pig Latin and Spanish:

Ben acted in movies and shows

Buying Beverly Hills is far from Ben Belacks first acting Book.

After graduating from college, the California native began acting, appearing in several shows and movies.

Belack’s previous credits include appearances on hit TV series such as Veronica Mars, Jane the Virginand Fresh off the boat.

Funnily enough, his role on ABC Fresh off the boat was the home buyer, popping up in an episode where the show’s central family goes from open house to open house for an air-conditioned respite from the California heat.

He has also worked on feature films such as Push 30, WAVEand Closer to Fellini.

His acting work did not stop there as he has been a part of several theater productions. Belack is a stage veteran who appears in productions 12 angry men, Sex, drugs and rock n rolland Love Bites Vol. 12.

Ben was a wine waiter before working in real estate

While trying to break into the acting game, Ben Belack worked a variety of service jobs using a lifestyle called auditioning during the day.

Over time, however, Belack noticed that he was drifting further from his acting dream. He got excited about the world of fine dining and took on the role of wine waiter at one of the most prestigious Italian restaurants in Los Angeles, Spago.

Belack’s time as a sommelier at a Michelin-recommended restaurant was the last thing he did before getting his real estate license.

on the subject, Buying Beverly Hills star told Inman, “I was (at Spago) for five years” and was at one point in charge “25 percent of (the restaurant’s) wine sales (during the year):”

“My last job was at Spago; I was there for five years. I was tasting wine blind five nights a week with a 130-page wine list. And one of our sommeliers said to me when he was leaving. You know, you alone do 25 percent of our wine sales a year. Alone. You, alone” ,”

He credits his time at Spago in part as the reason he decided to go into real estate, remembering someone telling him that if he could sell wine, he “please (property):”

“So I (eventually) got my license, my real estate permit, because somebody said I’d be good at it. That’s it. I don’t even remember who that person was; I don’t know.”

How Belack ended up on the hit Netflix series is an interesting story.

He noted that when he started out as a real estate agent, he thought about reality TV “cheesy.”

However, she realized its significance after an exclusive event with real estate coach Tom Ferry “To be at the forefront of (own) marketplace” makes him look for opportunities to show himself more:

“I thought (reality TV) was nifty, and then I went to the manager with Tom Ferry, who is obviously the best real estate coach in the world, and Jay Abraham. And I got a few big hits from that. One of the biggest guarantees was being a leader in your marketplace. And I thought to myself… the more important thing is to be known than to be good. So I shifted my whole strategy to becoming known.”

Ben has his own Real Estate Agency

When not working as part of the Netflix agency Buying Beverly HillsBen Belack has his real estate agency.
