There are several eligible Married at first sight alums that would be a better match than their original partners, and that could leave room for a potential spinoff. Shaquille Dillon & Jasmine Secret

They would have done better

Jasmine and Shaquille were both there Married at first sight season 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. Shaquille was in a relationship with Kirsten Grimes, while Jasmine married Airris Williams. They both experienced issues that formed strong bonds with their spouses due to attraction and commitment to the process. There was speculation online Shaquille and Jasmine should have been the same all along because their personalities blended better.

Jasmine and Shaquille would have been a better couple because they were both emotionally available.


Jasmine became more independent than Airris, and Shaquille’s busy lifestyle as a teacher was also a priority for her. They were also more each other’s types.

Clint Webb and Emily Balch

They could entertain each other

Clint was the part MAFS season 16 Nasvhille Cast as well, and she was matched by Gina Micheletti. Gina and Clint made it clear to each other that they weren’t each other’s types, and while they tried to make things work, they didn’t push hard enough after losing attraction. Emily was there MAFS season 17 in Denver and struggled with the attractiveness of her husband, Brennan Shoykhet.


Brennan was Emily’s first dating experience (via ET,) so now he might be ready for a more experienced guy like Clint. Clint, an avid yachtsman, loves extreme travel and is financially sound too. Emily is equally passionate about travel and is proud of his working life. Emily also has a different figure than Gina, which Clint might be more interested in.

Mark Maher & Krysten Collins

They would have appreciated each other

Mark married Lindsey Georgoulis in Married at first sight season 14 in Boston. Lindsey felt Mark didn’t check all her boxes and also thought she wasn’t confident enough in the bedroom. Krysten married Mitch Silverstein MAFS season 15 in San Diego. Mitch wasn’t interested in Krysten because she liked makeup, and this issue caused the couple to break up.


Krysten has a fun, warm and bubbly personality in a way that was much different than Lindsey. Lindsey put Mark down Krysten’s behavior is trying to lift someone up.

Mark needs a more nurturing personality and someone to value him like Krysten could.

Krysten’s outgoing personality could also complement Mark’s more reserved nature.

Alyssa Ellman and Mackinley Gilbert

They are each other’s types


Alyssa famously considered herself a “good person” but didn’t show it at all during her brief marriage to Chris Collette MAFS season 15. Alyssa didn’t like Chris’ teeth and didn’t give him the slightest chance. He wanted a manly man’s cowboy. Mackinley “Mac” married Domynique Kloss in season 16, but Domynique quickly saved the marriage because she didn’t think Mac was adventurous enough. Mac and Alyssa could be a good potential match because they seem to be each other’s typesand Mac could take a backseat to Alyssa’s needy personality.

Lauren Goodger and Michael Shiakallis

They seemed to have a spark

Lauren was in a relationship with Orion Martzloff MAFS season 17. And while the pair had instant chemistry and could relate to many things, they lost touch when Lauren made an inappropriate racist joke. From there, the pair spiraled, and by the end of the season, Lauren had nothing but contempt for Orion for his lack of follow through and early exit.


Michael was on Lauren’s season and was the victim of a runaway bride, causing him to have an unprecedented second match with Chloe Brown. Michael and Chloe seemed great together, but eventually Michael realized that he could give Chloe everything she wanted in a partner. He also said that he was not ready for marriage.

Internet “willing” Lauren and Michael end up getting together, and the pair didn’t rule out the possibility of getting together after the season ended. However, things took a turn when Chloe and Lauren disagreed over Chloe not wanting Lauren to run into Michael (via You make it to Hollywood.) Now that a lot of time has passed since the end of season 17, Michael may now be ready to give another partner his full commitment. Lauren and Michael’s mature nature would be a good match, and they could be an entertaining couple to watch.


Jasmina Outar & Miles Williams

They have similar personalities

Jasmina married Michael Morency MAFS season 15, but Jasmina grew tired of Michael’s aloof communication style. They said yes on the closing day, but didn’t last long after that. Miles was involved MAFS season 11 in New Orleans and he married Karen Landry. The couple ended up together after the cut-off date, but unfortunately broke up in 2023. Miles and Jasmina are both sophisticated personalities which could fit well together. They are both respected individuals and both have demonstrated their ability to be good communicators.

Married at first sight missing any kind of spinoffs. It had MAFS: Unmatchableswhich only worked for one season, but the concept was not to scale.

Using this list of potential couples to start the process with specialized coaching and expert mentoring can be very entertaining.

Married at first sight could expand with an “Another Chance” spinoff, and it could give these memorable actors a new love interest, but they’d have to work out the distance factor in most pairings.
