The Golden Bachelor’s Gerry and Theresa Turner opened up about where they will settle down now that they are married.

Though Gerry Turner, 72, met Theresa Nist, 70, in her birthday suit on Season 1 of The Golden Bachelor, her spontaneity reigned supreme on Gerry.

Continuing to make a good impression, Theresa was asked by Gerry to marry him during the season finale.

Now that the two have finally had their wedding, as they were married in front of millions of people on live television on January 4, Gerry and Theresa have shared where they might be settling down.

Gerry and Theresa currently do not live together

Though Gerry and Theresa tied the knot over a week ago and have been in a committed relationship since The Golden Bachelor finale, the two do not currently live together.

However, Gerry and Theresa have plans to move in together soon, as they have a couple of ideas on where they would like to reside.

Theresa, who has a son in Charleston, South Carolina, has planted SC in Gerry’s mind. Though Gerry has told his family that he’d be willing to move to SC, he also has another destination that he may prefer.

For Gerry, New Jersey seems like the right place to settle down, as he has visited Theresa often in her home state.

For now, though, Gerry and Theresa will be enjoying their time traveling with one another. They also have their honeymoon coming up where they will take on the serenity of Italy.

Though the newlyweds haven’t made the move to live together, they seemingly have no doubts or urges to rush their decision, as Gerry recalls laughing like “high school kids” with Theresa throughout their relationship. With that type of love, does it even matter where they end up?
