When are Jet2 flights released?

Jet2 releases flights a long time in advance, so it is possible to plan well ahead when booking your holiday.

The travel provider launched its schedule for next winter in September.

Commenting on the winter 2024/25 services, Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “As well as seeing strong demand from customers and independent travel agents booking a Christmas Market break for this winter, we know that people want to book ahead and get their holidays locked in for next winter too.”

“We have given holidaymakers exactly what they want by putting a fantastic selection of Christmas Market destinations on sale for Winter 24/25.”

“This is the earliest we have ever put our Christmas Markets programme on sale, meaning customers and independent travel agents can book in advance and have the best choice of dates and hotels from across our festive hotspots.”

“We are anticipating a very successful Winter 24/25 and look forward to taking holidaymakers to their favourite Christmas Market destinations, as well as showcasing our award-winning flights and city breaks to them.”

Jet2 and Jet2holidays’ also announced their biggest-ever summer sale in October, with 16 million seats over 350 routes in 2025.

The sale includes routes from eleven UK airports to 46 sunny destinations.

The departure airports are Belfast International, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle International Airports.

Destinations include some of Brits’ favourites in the Canaries, Balearics, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia, Montenegro, Malta, Bulgaria, France, Austria and Portugal.

The holiday company will have more than 1,600 weekly departing flights during the summer of 2025.

Jet2 was voted ‘Tripadvisor’s Best UK Airline’ and recently announced Liverpool as its 11th UK base — with the first flight taking off in March 2024.

The 350 routes include six brand new ones for summer 2025, a four per cent increase from summer 2024.

In October 2023 Heapy said: “We are seeing strong demand from customers and independent travel agents wanting to book their summer sun early and get the best availability and choice.

“As the UK’s largest tour operator, we have listened to what our customers are telling us and reacted by putting our Summer 25 Sun programme on sale nice and early.

“By going on sale today, we are giving customers the chance to lock in the price of their holiday now, have their pick of the best choice of destinations, hotels, rooms and flights and spread the cost. (…)

“In addition to expanding our flying programme, we are also investing in our operations at Birmingham, Liverpool John Lennon, London Stansted and Manchester by adding additional aircraft at these airports.

“We will also be introducing three new Airbus A321neo aircraft at Edinburgh Airport.

“This means we will have our new aircraft based at Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester Airports for Summer 25, enabling us to grow more sustainably in line with demand for our award-winning flights and holidays.

“On top of today’s announcement, we will be revealing more good news about our exciting Summer 25 operations soon.”
