London Trans+ Pride, which was established in response to the daily injustices trans+ people face and to create an event where all trans+ people can freely express themselves, is back for 2022 and its set to be their biggest event yet. It continues the legacy of Pride being a protest, so the march will serve as a way to protest against transphobic legislation and to advocate for changes to trans+ healthcare. The event starts at Wellington Arch in Hyde Park and the LTP team is encouraging all those joining to wear flowers “to honour the long legacy of transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming and intersex people who came before us.”
