After a successful edition in 2021, Estrella Galicia is bringing back its Spanish food festival Gastronomy Month for 2022 and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. Taking place throughout September at bars and restaurants across the country, you’ll be able to take part in tapas tours, tasting menus, beer pairings, cooking masterclasses and beer pouring events.
In London, there’ll be tapas tours in the new Borough Yards development, hitting Barrafina, Parrillan, and Bar Daskal, and one in Soho, stopping at Iberica, Pix Pintxos and Yamabache, where you’ll try a different tapas dish matched with an Estrella Galicia beer. If you can’t make one of the full tapas tours, a host of London restaurants (including Sabor, El Vino, Barrafina and Brindisa) will be running the brand new activation Beer & a Bite, where you can get a select dish paired with Estrella Galicia for a tasty price. If you fancy putting your cooking skills to the test, Monika Linton will be running a masterclass at the Battersea outpost of Brindisa, where you’ll get to feast on the fruit of your labours afterwards, and if you want to master the perfect Estrella Galicia pour, you can step up to the tap at one of the participating venues and give it a go for free. Basically if you’re a Spanish food fan, you’ll not be short of things to do this September.
