Culture and celebration

These famous fireworks are back with a bang November 2 and 3! Don’t miss a night of excitement and history commemorating the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605 with fireworks, bonfires and images of Guy Fawkes.

Some of the biggest displays in central London are: Battersea Park, Beckenham Charity Fireworks and the Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival.

The world’s oldest, longest running and most beloved civic procession returns November 9, 2024, which unites the bygone era of English tradition with the modern business. Around 7,000 participants, 200 horses and around 150 floats will travel from the Mansion House to the Royal Courts of Justice and back.

  • The Remembrance Festival and Remembrance Day

Every year the Royal British Legion organizes the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday November 9. This year the festival will honor the service and sacrifices made by British Armed Forces personnel.
