Unlock, the gourmet pizza specialist in Hackney, East London, is breaking the boundaries of the culinary world with the launch of Luna – the world’s first pizza taco.
This innovative new dish is a combination of two street food favorites – the traditional Neapolitan pizza fritta (fried pizza) and the Mexican taco, offering a bold and delicious twist on familiar comfort foods.
The crescent-shaped Luna is a bold reimagining of the classic Neapolitan pizza fritta, with a selection of both traditional and experimental gourmet toppings. The innovative new dish combines the crispy dough and rich flavors of authentic Neapolitan pizza with the comfort and shape of a taco, creating a unique culinary experience that London’s street food lovers won’t find anywhere else in the world.

The name Luna – Italian for “moon” – is inspired by the dish’s unique crescent shape, and the concept represents a fresh, creative approach to street food, respecting both Italian authenticity and international culinary experimentation.
