The storybook romance of season 11 couples turned out to be the most relaxed, drama-free of the reality show. Motivated to end his long streak of bad romances, playwright Bennett took a leap of faith and walked down the aisle with fellow physician Amelia. And while the self-proclaimed social experiment lover had a successful run with Bennett Married at first sightis the couple still living their best life?

It was the first time in its history Married at first sight when fans realized that Amelia had actually met Bennett before the show. While many wondered if this reality TV bride and groom had been hooking up before, Amelia, 27, and Bennett, 28, showed signs of super-strong chemistry right off the bat. With their similar quirky personalities and matching vibes, the Lifetime couple disappointed a few fans because their big reveal was just an innocent mutual friend. Although Amelia and Bennett were amazed by each other’s eccentricities, they had their fair share of problems, most notably Amelia’s new job.

Amelia’s dream of becoming a doctor had to be uprooted by Bennett from the city that was his home for six years. To add to their sorrows Lifespan the newlyweds had to quarantine together during the coronavirus pandemic. Amelia and Bennett were the first couple to face specialists Dr. Pepper, Reverend Cal and Dr. Viviana Coles on the final day after four months of being together. Bennett, very much in love, looked into Amelia’s eyes and burst out, “You’ve helped me stay afloat“, as he revealed that this has been his first serious romantic relationship in which “the feeling of love and admiration has not been combined with the feeling of danger.”

Amelia talked about having to move to Virginia right after the interview ended, and also about how Bennett had told her that moving would strengthen her creativity. “You have only been a source of joy in my life”, Amelia’s husband told her before revealing his surprise. It was Bennett reveals a tattoo of Amelia’s initials and a heart in her booty which led their fans to believe that they support “best MAFS couple ever!”

A success story leads Married at first sight lived together in Virginia after the show. Amelia had her first year of work, where he worked every day from 5 am to 6:30 pm, which is why Bennett and Amelia participated in the meeting via video call. Host Kevin Frazier talked about 2020 being a wild ride and the world needs the positivity that Amelia and Bennett exude, admitting that “It feels really good to be involved as much as I can and help people.” Amelia shared that her specialty is family medicine, and Bennett also revealed that she now has a full-time job as a solar consultant helping people go solar in their homes.

The couple didn’t spend much time focusing on the topic of children because they had so much to do with their busy schedules, but they did manage to see Amelia’s family by seeing them every week. Bennett’s bohemian lifestyle and Amelia’s demanding career as a doctor might not have worked out Married at first sight fans believe that they would last a long time, and these factors may have contributed greatly to the downfall of their relationship.

They have decided to remain private about the reason for their splitbut there seems to be no ill will between them since the breakup.

During the three years from Bennet and Amelia ended their relationship, both have been successful. Bennet is in a new relationship, which she mentioned briefly when she appeared in a recent episode of Catch Up After Married at first sight season 17 ended. The identity of Bennett’s girlfriend is a mystery as she does not appear on his Instagram page. Outside of her new relationship, Bennett has maintained a strong friendship with her Season 11 co-star Miles Williams. The couple recently launched a YouTube channel where fans can listen to what they have to say “tips, experiences and practices for finding joy in appearing on Tosi-tv.”

The couple has several videos together doing acrobatic couple yoga. In addition, Amelia has a very busy life outside of her relationship, filled with outdoor adventures and travel. Amelia seems to be on a recent sabbatical from her job as a doctor, and she’s making the most of it. Amelia also leaves time for her many friends.

Bennet and Amelia seemed like a very promising couple, but unfortunately they had too many differences to work out. Married at first sight seemed like a great experience for both of them, even though they didn’t stay together. They both still have a huge following since they’ve been on this show, and many fans have supported them in these next chapters of their lives.
