Located in the heart of Cheshire, the Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa are a testimony of timeless elegance and modern luxury.

This 18th-century Class I listed Jacobean Manor seamlessly mixes historical splendor with modern amenities by providing an unforgettable weekend retreat.

A friend and I decided on a cold and fairly dark Sunday February was the perfect day to take care of ourselves on a small R+R, so we wrapped the bags overnight and headed for the Crewe hall’s shrine. Just two hours by car and we roll the big trees from the driveway to our weekend’s place to be fully maintained.

The complex architecture and sweeping plots arouse the feeling of getting back in time, it gives to Bridgeton! Inside, abundant indoors are decorative gypsum, carved wood and stained glass, each corner whispering stories about its layering. Many of the original properties of the buildings have been preserved or refurbished, and the splendor hasn’t gone to me!

It Balancing ritual

When I sink into the heat year and cover me with a warm towel with a fairly calm spa room in the Crewe Hall, calm washing is on me. My therapist begins with consultation, tailoring the balancing ritual to the needs of my skin before applying the soothing elemis cleanser, its delicate fragrance melting tension. The following is gentle exfoliation, revealing fresh, radiant skin, a pre -nourishing mask size that allows me to drift into clean relaxation.

While the mask works in its magic, rhythmic scalp massage facilitates the last traces of stress, I’m now practically floating! Then the warm Elemis oils slide over my lower legs and my feet, the hands of the therapist experts release the built tension that I did not know I had. The sensation is both refreshing and deeply restoring.

When the last contacts are applied to my skin, the ritual feeling in balance, glowing and newest. I have to add my partner to the crime were also very animated on how much he also enjoyed his face. Two happy bunnies!

Dining in a Crewe Hall

After full relaxation of AA, of course, we were furious while we were sitting in Brassere, a beautifully proven restaurant with a warm atmosphere. Our server had to advise you to commit and provide us friendly welcome – there is nothing to hate more than I am recognized on time – and we will soon explore the menu with a glass of wine in hand.

Initially, I chose a grilled goat cheese salad – a failed safe dish for me and one is always happy to see in the menu. The cheese was deliciously warm and gooey with a solid herb pesto, which perfectly cut the rich and mild bitterness of the cheese. Across the table my friend attached to a fresh pot of crab salmon with caviar, Tarragon mayonnaise and roasted acidic – It must have been nice when he eats like a (small) bird in general, but he polished the batch!

Our main courses and I was happy with the beautifully presented fried cod fillet served with the giant of the Mediterranean vegetables, grilled spring onion and roasted red pepper sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and the combination of flavors was quite right – all too often, strong flavors cross the sensitive fish and spoil it.

My friend chose a fillet steak that was sErled truffle with leaves and hard cheese. The 21 -day -old fillet cut was cooked for his preference and full of flavor – a great dish.

The menu offers plenty of blend of classic foods, including gourmet burgers with suppressed OOzy cheese and onion rings, gold -fried fish and chips with winged peas and homemade tartar sauce -you can choose from a traditional sheep and rosemary pie with a rosemary pie!

Install in the bust, but the bigger eyes of our stomach, we could not resist the dessert menu full of attractive deals. We chose warm chocolate with Fondant’s GOOEY Center, honeycomb ice cream and drizzle chocolate sauce -just something light…

I can’t even tell you how good the dessert was, fortunately we shared it with last -minute damage. This work is really a danger to my waist.

Conclusion

Crewe Hall is a great hotel to relax and relax. The perfect place to pamper yourself with a glass of champagne in fluffy robes before they glow in the care facilities and renew yourself to swim. It is also a great place to dine delicious food and enjoy a great service – and a great place to book overnight together in their beautiful rooms. All in all, it’s also a rather magical place for the wedding I can really imagine.

If one of the above floats on your boat, then my advice is to pack overnight bag – don’t forget the swim -cozzie – and book a break in a stunning Crewe hall, tell them I sent you.
