Three Brit-loved airlines in the UK have made the list of the world's safest airlines for 2024 - with British Airways placing 15th.
Australian airline Qantas came in second spot in the research which looks at a range of factors - including crashes over the past five years.
Air New Zealand pipped Qantas to the number one spot, with their positions flipped from last year.
Virgin Australia placed third as data such as government audits, the age of the airline's aircraft, and the depth of crew training was taken into account.
In another win for airlines from Down Under, Australian carrier Jetstar topped the list of the safest budget airlines.
UK budget airline easyJet came in second place, as AirlineRatings.com editor-in-chief said the investigation also looked at how crew handled incidents.
Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair made the top three ahead of Hungary's Wizz Air.
