Duke of Westminster  £10.1billion Britain’s former most eligible bachelor, Hugh Grosvenor, 33, married Olivia Henson, 31, on June 7. The Duke inherited his title, and a property empire in 12 countries, at the age of 25, including 300 acres of Mayfair and Belgravia.

Fawn and India Rose James £750million The James sisters inherited the £1billion property empire built up by their grandfather, Paul Raymond. The strip club tycoon bought up swathes of Soho, including Ronnie Scott’s jazz club and the landmark billboards in Leicester Square.

Sir Lewis Hamilton £350million The F1 ace has been earning more than £40million a year from Maclaren, plus almost £10million from commercial tie-ups. Leaks suggest his new contract with Ferrari could be worth as much as £358million.

Rory McIlroy £225million The 35-year-old's golf earnings are thought to exceed £65million but the bulk of his wealth stems from sponsorship deals. He has prospered from property in Dubai, New York and Florida, however his recent divorce could hit  his fortune.

Susie Ma £73million The 35-year-old started out making face scrubs and in 2011 persuaded Lord Sugar to buy half her Tropic Skincare business on The Apprentice even after he fired her. She bought him out last year.
