We visited Chick-fil-A's top secret US headquarters as the fast food giant prepares to open its first site in the UK

The Sun's Consumer Reporter James Flanders visited Chick-fil-A's restaurant simulator in Atlanta where the chain tests out new ideas - from menu options to kitchen gadgets

The 6,000sq ft complex is also where a chosen few train to open their own Chick-fil-A restaurants

The fast food giant is set to open its first UK restaurant in early 2025 and a further five in the next two years

Those wishing to open and run their own site in the UK are expected to make a visit to the mothership in the coming months

The Sun was invited to witness this simulator in action and take a bike trip around the building

This is what future franchisees can expect - and how their work here will influence what you’ll see on your plate
