The Subaru rally car rescued from barn - with a mouse living in the exhaust
A Subaru rally car has been rescued and restored after being abandoned in a barn for seven years.
Owner Sam revealed that he bought the Impreza WRX Bugeye rally model when he was just 16 and travelled around the US in it.
But after starting a family he "had to be an adult" and put it away in storage in a run-down barn on his Ohio farm.
It sat for nearly a decade before RJ and Brent from WD Detailing found it and offered to restore it to its former glory.
Remarkably, the gorgeous classic was brought back to life through an intensive process lasting just two days and documented on their YouTube channel.
That included getting rid of some current and former resident mice, including one that was propelled from the exhaust when they tried to start the engine.
Sam now has the perfectly restored car back, worth around £10,000. Subaru prices are on the up in the UK too making them great investment pieces.
