The UK's best beach has been revealed - and it's perfect for people who want to get away from the crowds.
As part of the Times' Best 50 beaches in the UK, Towans in Hayle, Cornwall, was named the overall winner.
The three-mile stretch of sand came out on top after 543 beaches were rated on factors such as car parking, loos, and dog-friendliness.
Judges praised the "undeveloped and largely unknown stretch of sand, rock, cliff and dune across the bay from the overcrowded St Ives".
They also highlighted the "phenomenal" sunsets, excellent water quality, water sports equipment rental and two excellent cafés (Cove Café and the Jam Pot Café).
The beach itself remains uncrowded due to the dunes being a Site of Special Scientific Interest meaning nothing can be built on them.
There are a number of accommodation options nearby and one of the closest is Haven's Riviere Sands Holiday Park at the south end of the beach.
