Inside world’s most expensive stadium with link to Prem giant & tipped as World Cup host…IT COST 4 TIMES AS MUCH AS WEMBLEY

THE world's most expensive football stadium cost an eye-watering £4.8billion to build - making it four times more expensive than Wembley.

SoFi Stadium in California is one of the best looking sporting venues on the planet and is home to Los Angeles' top teams in the LA Rams and LA Chargers.

There are a whopping 260 suites inside the luxury stadium with all designed to cater to "convenience, personalization and extraordinary fan experiences". In-house chefs are on demand with expert sommeliers at your service.

Inside the spectacular ground, the pristine pitch sits at the heart of it. But there are also huge screens around the stadium to create an immersive viewing experience for everyone - regardless of where your seat is.

The outside of the luxurious NFL venue isn't too shabby either, so it's no surprise Newcastle United's owners have considered the architects behind it to help redesign St. James' Park.

Wembley Stadium cost £1.5billion to build and seats 90,000 in comparison to the smaller but much more expensive SoFi stadium, although it does not have all the luxury amenities on offer.
