the world's smallest caravan

- just 1.5m tall with bed, kettle and a BAR

The caravan was built to help people queuing on packed pavements for the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.

The minuscule motorhome costs £5,000 and packs in a single bed, bookshelves, an alarm clock, a minibar and a 19-inch TV.

Of course, there is also a kettle so you can whip up a brew while out in the wilderness - or on The Mall.

Optional extras include solar panels, a satellite dish, central heating and a gaming console to make stays a little more comfortable.

Perhaps best of all, you don't even need a car to own one, as it can be towed along behind a mobility scooter.

Designer Yannick Read said he based the van on vintage motors from the 1940s while also trying to keep it as small as possible.

He added the QTvan gets its name from three peculiar British obsessions, "that's queuing, drinking tea and caravans".
