with ice-cream sandwiches on course, £400k joining fee and movie theatre
The Madison Club is a private golf and country club in La Quinta, California, where famous homeowners range from a Kardashian to their former neighbour Sylvester Stallone -who sold his pad for around£2.5m in 2020
It features a championship-level golf course designed by world-renowned architect Tom Fazio, and is situated on over 150 acres with 120 acres of landscape surrounding all 18 holes, according to its website
Although the joining fee is not officially listed for the exclusive establishment, a range of reports claim that it is £400,000, which equates to half a million bucks. And on top of that you'll need to stump up an annual fee of £60,000
But you get plenty of bang for your buck, with a stunning outdoor pool one of the amenities available to those who can afford it
The course itself is on another level in terms of facilities. As well as hot dog stalls, the website boasts: “From tacos to homemade ice cream sandwiches, Discovery (course owners) comfort stations provide timely treats that elevate a round of golf”
Any players who have a bad round can get over it with a bit of retail therapy at one of the shops located around the course, or maybe take in a film at the cinema
And they can even let off some stress at the onsite gym, or have a game of pool in the five-star clubhouse
