Inside Michael Jackson's revamped Neverland theme park

Michael Jackson’s Neverland theme park has been brought back to life for a film on the life of the late King of Pop.

Fairground rides appear to have been repainted and the lush landscaping restored at the private amusement complex.

The new biopic, titled Michael, will star the singer's 27-year-old nephew Jaafar in the leading role and is due out next year.

The ranch, in Santa Barbara, California, fell into disuse after Jackson left it in 2005, shortly after he was acquitted of child abuse charges.

Named after Peter Pan’s  fairy tale home, Neverland was placed on the market in 2016 and originally listed for $100million.

It was eventually bought by US billionaire Ron Burkle in 2020 for $22million, who set about restoring the sprawling property.

The original ranch featured 21 structures including multiple guesthouses, a 50-seat movie theatre, swimming pool, Ferris wheel, miniature railway and petting zoo.
