Inside darts sensation Luke Littler’s 17th birthday

Luke Littler became a worldwide phenomenon after the 16-year-old's fairytale run to the World Darts Final.

"Luke the Nuke" fell just short of becoming the sport's youngest world champion after losing to Luke Humphries.

He returned home to Warrington to celebrate turning 17, popping into the darts academy where he started out aged ten.

The wonderkid revealed he "just chilled out" on his big day, enjoying "a nice Chinese with my family".

And after picking up £200k in the final he added: “No one can get me anything because I can get it myself.”

However, he did reveal the main thing that he hopes to achieve now he has turned 17 - learning to drive.

Luke said: “It's going to be a big thing, it saves my agent and my dad driving me. They can put their feet up on the dashboard rather than me doing it.”
