Inside Andy Murray’s £130m empire after Wimbledon farewell

– including Jaguar payday and hotel business with Kim

Andy Murray had finally waved goodbye to Wimbledon with an emotional farewell. His two wins there, in 2013 and 2016, helped him build an impressive £130m fortune.

Murray has earned over £50m in career prize money over the years, with the US Open in 2012 his other Grand Slam title.  Only Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have earned more in prize money.

Murray was sponsored by Under Armour, signing a four-year deal with them in 2015 for £15m. He then launched his own AMC brand with Castore in 2019 and has worn that since. Other sponsorship deals include a £1.5m contract with Jaguar, and tie-ups with Head, watchmaker Rado and  Standard Life.

In 2013, Murray started up his sports marketing agency, 77 Management. The business was valued at £22.6m in 2021. The company controls Murray’s image rights and manages many other sports stars.

Murray bought the luxury Cromlix House Hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, near his home town of Dunblane, for £1.8million in 2013. He married wife Kim there and spent £6m renovating it. It’s now a five-star complex with an Albert Roux restaurant.

Murray knows how to spend too and has an impressive collection of supercars. But he was clinging on to his first ever car - his beloved Vokswagen Polo (above) - for 14 years. He traded it in for a red Ferrari, which he then swapped for an Aston Martin.

Murray has had some beautiful homes, including a penthouse apartment in Miami (above) which he sold for £2.4million in 2016. And in that year he moved from his riverside London apartment to a £5.5m country mansion in Oxshott, Surrey. He has now sold that to build a dream home in nearby Leatherhead.
