Incredibly rare Ferrari supercar originally owned by Xmas hit singer is up for auction

A unique, one-of-a-kind Ferrari that was originally owned by a music icon is up for sale

The stunning supercar, said to be perhaps the world’s finest example of the iconic Ferrari F355 Berlinetta, has been offered by marque experts at Bell Sport & Classic

Hailed as the “greatest car in the world, ever” by Jeremy Clarkson, the F355 was renowned for its performance and luxury when it was first produced in the early 90s

With the ability to reach 62mph in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 184mph, the F355 eclipsed its contemporary rivals such as the Honda NSX and Lotus Esprit

This particular model is understood to be a unique “one of one” car thanks to its rare “Blu Scuro Micalizzato” colour, complete with Crema hide and Blu carpets

Dubbed the "Holy grail" by specialists, this F355 was previously owned as new by rock and blues musicians Chris Rea - renowned for his Christmas hit "Driving Home for Christmas"

Bell Sport & Classic's Tim Kearns said: "This sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire the 355 everyone wants: an early right-hand drive, ‘2.7 Motronic’, non-airbag, manual Berlinetta in a timeless specification"
