Iconic supercar that’s one of the FASTEST in the world to be discontinued – but replacement is already lined up
Bugatti is retiring its legendary Chiron after a record-smashing, eight-year run.
The £3.1million monster was the fastest car in the world until February this year, topping out at 304mph.
That crown has since been taken away by the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut, which has claimed to hit a mind-bending 330mph.
Nonetheless, the Chiron has remained in a very respectable third place, after being topped by its sibling, the 311mph Bugatti Bolide.
The stunning model will be capped off with a final version, dubbed the Super Sport L'Ultime, which the brand says will "celebrate the end of the incompatible Chiron era".
The unique car features a striking, blue and black design, with the names of major racing cities painted into the door. It also marks an end for the legendary W16 engine.
The car's successor will blend Bugatti's unique internal combustion design with electric supercar tech from new owners Rimac.
