I tried a  game-changing Apple Vision Pro alternative

that’s a fraction of the price

Wearable tech is the talk of the town thanks to the Apple Vision Pro.

But with a hefty price tag of £2,773 it's way out of the range for most people.

So we put an affordable rival to the test  – the XREAL Air 2 Pro –  to see how it compares at £449 plus £119 for a Beam adapter.

The XREAL Air 2 Pro can connect to anything that supports USB-C so Android phones, laptops and even games consoles.

The glasses basically create a virtual projection of whatever is on the screen of the device you've plugged in.

They don't look wacky and they're pretty comfortable too but earbuds are a must as the tiny speakers aren't powerful enough.

You can also dim the glasses. Watching a movie was great on my huge virtual screen but setting up was a bit of a faff and without USB-C there are a lot of wires.
