The caramel, biscuit and chocolate blend well together, but at £1.09 per 100g, it costs more than twice as much as the cheapest alternative.
At just 55p per 100g it's one of the cheapest and nearly as good as the real thing. The caramel dissolves quickly in the mouth instead of being chewy.
These were let down by the dry and dusty biscuit and had a burnt butter taste. At 69p per 100g, it isn't the cheapest option either.
This version has a slight salted caramel taste which lifts it. At a higher 68p per 100g, it's still much cheaper than Twix.
At just 47p per 100g, this is a bargain, but the biscuit is crumbly and there was a hole in one of the bars we tried.
These are the cheapest we tried, at 45p per 100g, but not worth the saving. The caramel tastes synthetic and the biscuit disintegrates.
