I bought an iconic singer’s house – now strangers constantly take selfies on our driveway and even try to come inside

When Bola Ranson splashed out £1.9million on the former home of a chart-topping singer, he didn’t realise it would come with strangers constantly peeking through the gates.

The house - which belonged to Kate Bush - has superfans outside trying to take photos of the property and has even had people asking if they can come in.

Bola said: "When we moved in, I had not appreciated the size of her fan base." He added that Netflix's Stranger Things had helped boost her audience.

Since moving into the home - named Wuthering Heights - Bola has turned it into an incredible, six-bedroom pad, complete with a swanky cinema room.

It also features a luxurious 12.5metre swimming pool, sauna and steam room at a cost of around £300,000.

The house was completely reconfigured from 5,500sqft to just under 10,000sqft complete with a new glass extended living room with views of the garden.

It was originally built in 1700s Edwardian style, but now features a modern family kitchen with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
